Mission

The Filipino-American Ministry Council of st. Francis of Assisi is committed to preserve, cherish and foster the time-honored values of the Filipino culture and traditions.  

Goal

To rekindle the Filipino American religious values to the community of St. Francis and pass them on to the present and future generations.

1. Weekly Novena to our Mother of Perpetual Help on Thursdays evenings
2. Santa Nino - Feast of the Infant Jesus in January
3. Visit 7 churches to reflect on the Passion and Death of Christ on Holy Thursday
4. Seven Last Words - Meditate on the seven words of Christ on the Cross on Good Friday
5. Salubong - Solemnity of the Lord's Resurrection at dawn - Easter procession
6. Flores de Mayo - Nine-day Novena and flower offering in honor of the Blessed Mother - May
7. Santa Cruzan - Mass and procession to commemorate the finding of the True Cross - May
8. Santa Lorenzo Ruiz - Feast of the first Filipino Saint - September
9. Simbang Gabi - Advent preparation for the birth of Jesus Christ - December
