Council of Catholic Women (CCW)

The St. Dominic/St. Francis Council of Catholic Women, under the guidance of Our Lady of Good Counsel, acts to support, empower and educate its members in spirituality, leadership and service. The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.  CCW usually meets the third Thursday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Couples for Christ

An association of Catholic men and women who have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another.  this ministry is intended for the renewal and strengthening of family life.  Also, serves as an umbrella group for associated children, youth, singles, and single part groups.  Couples for Christ meets on Sundays at 2:00pm. El Shaddai

A Catholic Charismatic Movement that envisions to bring the revival of true Christian spirit in the Catholic faith. Our mission is to share the healing, saving and transforming power of the living word of God in our Catholic faith.  El Shaddai has a regular prayer meeting every Saturday after the 5:00pm Mass, starting at 6:30pm until 10:00pm.  To know more about El Shaddai Ministry of "Faith, Love and Unity," you are welcome to attend our regular prayer meeting.

Filipino American Ministries Council

The Filipino-American Ministry is committed to preserve, cherish and foster the time-honored values of the Filipino culture and traditions.  Meetings are usually held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm.

Knights of Columbus (KC)

This men's fraternal organization that devotes itself to works of charity and service within both the faith community and the community at large. The St. Francis of Assisi Council is part of the Illinois State Council and the International Knights of Columbus organizations. Contact the St. Francis of Assisi Council by e-mail at: In order to join the Knights of Columbus, you must be a practicing Catholic and be at least 18 years old.  Meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Lady Knights

The Lady Knights works together as a team with the Knights of Columbus by participating  in charitable, church, community and family activities by giving of our time, talents and energy in service to others.  The Lady Knights is open to all Christian/Catholic women 18 years of age and older.  Meetings are held on the third Wednesdays of the month at 7:00pm.

Marriage Enrichment

The Marriage Enrichment program puts on various activities, "date night" and growth opportunities focused on married couples and strengthening their marriage.  Open to all married couples. 

Seniors Group

The Seniors of St. Francis of Assisi Parish join together in prayer, service and joy to offer their talents, time and service to the various members of our faith community.  The Seniors meet the third Friday of the month from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.  All seniors 50 years young and over are welcomed.
