Religious Education

The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community…child or adult…is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.

Religious Education Classes Grades 1-8

Our Religious Education Program provides religious instruction for non-parochial school children. Instruction is given in Catholic beliefs and morals, as well as preparation for sacraments. Volunteers are needed as catechists. Registration begins in April. A Baptismal Certificate is required the years your child will be making First Communion and Confirmation.

Teen Sacramental Preparation

Typically, by the time a teenager reaches high school, he or she has already received the three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Communion and Confirmation).  Due to many factors, we have found that this is not necessarily the case.  Changing churches, moving to a new neighborhood, conversion and many other situations can and often do interfere with the "typical progression of a teen through a religious education program". Teen Sacramental Preparation is a two year program.  The program begins in September and meets on Monday evenings from 7:45pm - 9:00pm.Put information about your religious education classes here.
